New Car Top Prize At Local Golf Tournament

|A new car is among the major prizes to be offered at North Central Missouri College Foundation’s second annual Golf Tournament set for Friday, August 30.|
The tournament will be held at the Riverside Country Club in Trenton and is to benefit the support the Foundation’s Knowledge Scholarship Fund at NCMC.
These major prizes are for a Hole-in-One and are sponsored by Barnes-Baker Automotive of Trenton and Chillicothe. The prizes are a new Ford Fiesta Hatchback; a Stay-and-Play package at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel and Casino/Revere Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada; a 3 Day/2 Night Vacation Package to Tree Tops Resort; and a Tour Edge Exotics Trilogy Fairway Wood. Other prizes are offered for specialized contests such as closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, longest putt, etc. Sponsors for those contests are Foundation Board member Nan Carter, Global Instruments LTD, Grundy County Lumber, and PDQ Cleaning Services, Inc.
Hole sponsors are Cameron Regional Medical Center, Ellison-Auxier Architects, Inc., Empire Gas District, Farmers Bank of Northern Missouri, Great Western Bank, Industrial Construction Services/Brian Roach, Landmark Manufacturing, and Trenton Coca-Cola Bottling Co. LLC. Other sponsors are Dixon Golf, El Nopal, Great Western Dining, Hy-Vee, Kansas City Royals, KTTN Radio, NCMC Bookstore, Pizza Hut, Royal Inn Pizza, and Washington Street Food and Drink.
The tournament has space for a few more teams for both morning and afternoon tee times, and sponsorships are still being accepted.

We know that it will bring both alums and friends of the college to Trenton for a fun activity while generating dollars toward college scholarships. This effort will benefit our students for years to come by increasing our endowed Knowledge Scholarship Fund.”
