Seven seniors will anchor the Lady 'Cats roster, which will also receive a boost from a talented influx of freshmen onto the team. Milan Head Coach Nathan Dodson is planning on senior Kyley Doak getting the majority of starts in the pitching circle this fall:

Milan's defense has received a higher-than-average amount of defensive tests in recent years, with the pitching staff generally pitching "to contact". However, Doak's power game has developed over the off-season, which could pay large dividends for the Lady 'Cats this fall:

Milan, in addition to a tough slate of games in the Tri-Rivers Conference, has a daunting run of non-conference tests this season. Those tests start with a two-game homestand to kickoff the season, with Gallatin visiting Legion Field on Thursday, August 29th, and Marceline at Milan on Tuesday, September 3rd. The Lady 'Cats first road (and conference) game of the season will be at Schuyler County on Thursday, September 5th.
