It's to be held on the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks in the United States that occurred in 2001.

The free meal for law enforcement, fire and ambulance department personnel, is scheduled from 5:30 until 7 o'clock on Wednesday September 11th at the North 65 Center in Trenton. Organizers say the event is sponsored and supported by several local and area businesses.

Invited to the appreciation dinner next month are Trenton Police, Grundy County Sheriff's office, the state highway patrol, Trenton Fire department, Grundy county rural fire protection district, Galt, Spickard, and E-L-B firefighters, Laredo fire and ambulance, Grundy County Ambulance, 9-1-1 dispatchers, and Lifeflight Eagle medical helicopter service.
