Chillicothe Forms Community Choir

A Chillicothe Community Choir is being formed for a concert in November called Harvest Harmony.

Area adults and high school students are being sought for the choir. Practices will be Tuesday nights from 7 until 9 o'clock beginning September 17th at Chillicothe United Methodist Church at 14-14 walnut.

There are no auditions, and no cost to participate.

The choir will be directed by Frank Thomas, retired director of Missouri Western State University's concert chorale, and long-time director of the St. Joseph Community Chorus as well as the St. Joseph Chamber Choir.

The concert at Chillicothe is on Sunday, November 17th, at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center. It's being sponsored by the Chillicothe Area Arts Council.
