|4-H Achievement Day at the Trenton Rock Barn featured over 150 entries submitted by more than 30 youth including five from the clover kids division.|
The largest majority of the entries received a blue ribbon from the judges.
Many items were nominated for exhibit at the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia or the Interstate Show in St. Joseph. Items selected for display in the 4-H building at the State Fairgrounds need to be taken to the Grundy County Extension Center by 12 noon Thursday. The state fair sets a limit of two exhibits per youth since it will have entries representing all counties in Missouri.
Among the Grundy County 4-H entries at achievement day held Monday morning, entries were submitted in various categories. Youth receiving three “best of show” honors were Rebecca and Robert Urich, Megan Derry, and Tyler Kidd.
Those receiving two of the “best of show” honors are Elle Neal, Riley Raymo, Mariah Fox, Allena Allen, and Latorrie Johnson. Ten other 4-H'ers received one “best of show” honor.
