NCMC Holds Training Course

North Central Missouri College, in cooperation with Ascend Business Strategies, holds a training course on using the media to disseminate messages to the public in disaster and non-disaster situations.

North Central Missouri College says the class is intended for public information officers, local government officials, business leaders, school officials, and anyone interested in enhancing their communication skills.

The instructor is Rodney Long of Ascend Business Strategies.

A class is scheduled at Trenton August 21st from 9 until 4 o'clock. It will be at the Lager Lab building on the Barton Campus of North Central Missouri College. The cost is 199 dollars a person, lunch will be provided.

Registration can be done by contacting Jason Helton by telephone or e-mail at North Central Missouri College. His telephone extension is 12-78. Checks should be made payable to North Central Missouri College, and mailed to Helton at North Central Missouri College at 13-01 Main street in Trenton.

If not enough persons register, the class would be cancelled and the registration fees refunded.

The class also will be offered at Maryville the following day on August 22nd at Northwest Missouri State University. It will be at Northwest's Center For Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
