Woman Injured In Motorcycle Accident

A woman from south Missouri, riding as a passenger on a motorcycle, was injured in an accident yesterday afternoon three miles south of Blythedale.

The highway patrol said 39 year old Darlene Palmer, whose address was listed as Kimberling, Missouri, was taken to Harrison county community hospital in Bethany with a minor injury.

The patrol investigator said 63 year old Larry Taff of Blythedale was southbound on Harrison county Route T when a deer ran onto the road and into the path of the motorcycle. The animal struck the motorcycle and the passengers' left leg. Damage was moderate to the motorcycle. Both the driver and passenger were using safety devices.
