Bond was set at 15 thousand dollars in cash with the defendant to appear July 23 in the associate division of the Grundy county circuit court. Wattenbarger is accused of possessing a 45 caliber pistol on January 25th of 2012.

Information contained in the warrant claims Wattenbarger has previously tested positive in a drug influence evaluation conducted by the state highway patrol.

On another case, Prosecuting Attorney Cristine Stallings has dismissed charges of third degree domestic assault that had been filed against 22 year old Tyler Dillon King of Trenton. Authorities said the misdemeanor charge stemmed from a disturbance May 20th at his residence that involved Katrina Maxwell, described as a household member at 16-02 East 2nd Street in Trenton.
