|Bond has been set for two men arrested in Kirksville for breaking and entering, one of them, a Grundy County man.|
A Grundy county man is among two persons arrested at Kirksville inside the home they are suspected of breaking into. According to Kirksville Police, officers responded yesterday morning in reference to two males allegedly attempting to enter a home in the 900 block of East Dear Street. Police arrived and said they were advised by a neighbor that two males had entered a home while the owner was not there.
Kirksville Police entered the residence and located two suspects, allegedly attempting to hide in closets. The suspects were apprehended with one of them found to be in possession of items from inside the residence.
Kirksville Police identified the suspects as 24 year old Earl Dean Ireland of Trenton and 29 year old Timothy Alan Nguyen of Kirksville. Both are being held at the Adair County Detention
Facility on charges of second degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing. Bond for each was set at 25 thousand dollars cash.
Online court records yesterday show Ireland to have a Spickard address. On the day prior to this incident, Kirksville Police responded to a neighborhood near East Dear Street in reference to a report of two males similar in description to Nguyen and Ireland who were acting suspicious and reportedly attempting to gain entry into homes. It is unclear if any other homes were entered on July 16 or 17th.
The investigation continues at Kirksville.
