Street department supervisor Larry Griffin said for Wednesday, an old, rusted out, drainage tube will be dug out and replaced in the 700 block of Town and Country. Griffin said crews will be cutting across the street and motorists will have time delays. The street crew plans to begin the tube replacement project early Wednesday morning with completion expected by late afternoon.

Then on Thursday, Town and Country receives an overlay in what Griffin believes will be a day-long project. Crews will begin at 6 o'clock Thursday morning. Motorists are asked to have their vehicles moved off Town and Country, including the cul-de-sac on the south end, all day Thursday. Work is weather conditions permitting.
