MoDOT Reveals Five Year Plan

One includes Highway 6 for proposed resurfacing and shoulder improvements from Trenton, east to Highway 5, south of Milan. It's a distance of 25
miles. The other is on Route C and involves streambank protection at the bridge over Weldon Branch at Spickard. MoDot said the Corps of Engineers is to design and administer the project.
Two projects are being planned in Mercer county. One is described as a thin lift overlay on ten miles of Route K between the Iowa state line and U-S 65 at near Mercer.
The other is on Route P and is the proposed replacement of a bridge over Brushy Creek. That location is nearly six miles south of Route B, near Mercer.
One project in Sullivan county continues with proposed resurfacing and shoulder improvements on Highway 6 from Highway 5 north of Milan to Highway 129 in Green City. It's a distance of nine miles.
Replacement of the Linn County Route B bridge over Locust Creek is included in MoDOT's long range plan. The location is just east of Route Y, near Linneus.
What's described as low type resurfacing is listed on a pavement treatment project on Route F from Jamesport, east to Route W in Grundy county. It's nine miles long.
On Route P in Daviess county, plans call for replacing the bridge deck over Little Muddy Creek near Jameson.
MoDOT has listed a project on Route C-C that involves replacement of a bridge deck over Marrowbone Creek near Hamilton. Low type resurfacing is proposed for 12 miles of Route C-C between Highway 6 in Daviess county and Highway 13 at Hamilton in Caldwell County.
U-S 136 is targeted for resurfacing and shoulder improvements from Bethany, east to the Mercer County line—a distance of 15 and a half miles.
Replacement of a bridge on Harrison county Route F also is listed in the report. That location is over Little Creek, just west of Route W, near Bethany. Also planned, but on Route W of Harrison County, is replacement of the bridge deck over East Fork Big Creek just west of U-S 69 near Bethany.
Also listed plans to repair a damaged bridge in northern Harrison county. It's the road 245 overpass, north of Route N, near Eagleville.
Among other projects listed in the five-year MoDOT plan are those involving pavement repairs on Interstate 35 in northwest Missouri – from the Iowa state line to Clay County.
The statewide transportation improvement program (STIP), available on MODOT's web site, shows projects recommended by state and regional planning commissions to occur sometime between now and June 30th of 2018.
