Macon Woman Killed In Crash

|A Macon, Missouri woman was killed and three others injured in a two car crash Thursday afternoon. |
Kathleen Gentner, 72, was pronounced dead at the scene by Macon County Coroner Brian Hayes.
The crash occurred on Highway 36 near Kellogg Thursday afternoon at approximately 4:15.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Gentner was attempting to pull onto Highway 36, when she pulled out in front of a car driven by Bethany Dodd, 18, of Shelbyville, Missouri.
Dodd and two passengers were injured. Sara Hatfield, 25, of Shelbina, Missouri, along with the driver were taken to Samaritan hospital in Macon for treatment, while Hatfield’s son Wyatt, 5, was taken to University Hospital in Columbia, where he is listed in good condition.
