Public Tours Announced At Livingston County Jail

Livingston county Sheriff Steve Cox has announced the public may tour the county jail at Chillicothe to see problems which led to most of the jail being closed in December. Two cell areas are used as a holding facility.

The Livingston County Sheriff's office uses the remainder of the jail for storage.

The guided tours are from 10 o'clock until 2:30 on both July 15th and July 19th. Cox said there's no need to register, simply show up.
