A resident of Coffey was injured yesterday afternoon when her vehicle struck a Missouri Department Of Transportation Truck.

A resident of Coffey was injured yesterday afternoon when according to the
Highway Patrol, her car struck the rear of a parked Missouri department of transportation truck six miles south of Mount Moriah. The report indicated the state truck had its emergency lights activated while stopped on Route Double-C.

Officers said 32 year old Crystal Benwire of Coffey received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Harrison county community hospital in Bethany.

Her car received extensive damage. She was wearing a seat belt.
