4th Of July Celebration Activities At Trenton

|Trenton American Legion Post 31 is again hosting Independence Day activities in Trenton at Eastside Park. A variety of activities are planned.|
A variety of activities will be held this year. The event is called Fun On The Fourth and includes a car and motorcycle show, a coed mud volleyball tournament, fundraising barbeque and music.
Later that day, a fireworks display, presented by the Trenton Chamber Of Commerce, with financial assistance from contributors is to be held.
Registration for the car and motorcycle show is the morning of July 4th from 7 until 9 O'clock. The show itself runs from 9 until 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Awards will be presented for best in show, with dash plaques to be hand out to the first fifty entries.
The Coed mud volleyball tournament the evening of the 4th begins at 5:30. Participants must be 14 years of age. Teams are to have six members, with a least two team members to be female.
First and second place will be awarded in the tournament. Entry fees are $25.00 per team when entering by July 2nd, $35.00 per team after. Entry forms are available at Chumbley's, KTTN and The Trenton Chamber Of Commerce.
American Legion post 31 will offer pulled pork sandwich plates beginning at 6 o'clock in the evening. Cost is six dollars with all proceeds going to the American Legion Post 31 building fund.
Music will be provided during the day by Brad Chumbley. It is suggested that the public take lawn chairs for seating.
Activities will be capped at dusk by the annual fireworks display.
