One Injured In Accident At Gallatin

|One person was injured at the intersection of Highway 6 at Gallatin Friday afternoon in a two car collision.|
The accident occurred when a northbound vehicle, driven by 18 year old Thomas Whitt of Cameron attempted to make a left turn, pulling into the path of a vehicle driven by 64 year old Robin Rader of Gallatin.
The vehicles collided in the eastbound lane with the vehicle driven by Rader going off the roadway. Whitt's vehicle came to rest in the roadway.
There was extensive damage to Whitt's vehicle, with moderate damage to Rader's vehicle.
A passenger in Rader's vehicle, Cindy Rader of Gallatin sustained what the Highway Patrol listed as minor injuries, and was transported to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
All three occupants involved in the accident were wearing seat belts. Rader's residence is listed in Gallatin, with Whitt's at Cameron.
The accident was investigated by Corporal Kimball of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, with assistance from the Daviess County Sheriff's Department.
