Jamesport City Council Meets

The Jamesport City Council recently held a meeting, discussing a variety of topics.

The city of Jamesport has purchased a truck for street work. The oil distribution truck was acquired for 18-thousand 500 dollars via an online auction service called purple wave auction.

Jamesport city clerk Shelly Page said the 1996 model International truck previously was used by the Missouri Department Of Transportation. It has nearly 72 thousand miles on it.

The Jamesport council has approved the sale of a 1994 model truck to Mark Pettit of Jamesport for 350 dollars.

Also approved was the sale of a mower to Doug Percell of Jamesport for 50 dollars.
The Jamesport council also approved the part-time employment of John Fredricks and Zach Neeley for Maintenance work and Chris Neeley to work part time at City hall.
