Busy Day For Circuit Court At Trenton

It was a busy day in the Associate Division Of Grundy County Circuit Court.

34-year old heather Marshall of rural Trenton waived a preliminary hearing and was bound over to division one of Grundy county circuit court on charges Accusing her with stealing and forgery in January. In the stealing charges, ms. Marshall is accused of appropriating the drugs phenobarbital and diazepam owned by Bruce and Gayla whittle. The forgery charge alleges an E-signature and a prescription for the drug tramadol using a Honey creek veterinary clinic account.

65-year old Lowry Vanhoozer of rural Trenton was bound over to division one of circuit court on a charge Accusing him with being a sex offender loitering within 500 feet of a public park or swimming pool.

The charge said Vanhoozer was at Moberly park last month. The charge also said he pled guilty to child molestation in 2001 in Grundy county.

A charge accusing Vanhoozer with failure to register a vehicle with the director of revenue was certified to be heard in division one of Grundy county circuit court.

20-year old Jackson Anderson of rural Trenton Waived a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Division one of circuit court on a charge of Passing a 55 dollar check drawn on a non-existent account.

22-year old Aaron wolf Moffett of Trenton pleaded guilty to misdemeanor resisting lawful detention and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance on June 2nd. Judge Steve Hudson sentenced Moffett to 60 days in the Grundy county detention center on the resiting lawful detention charge. Execution of the sentence was suspended and Moffett was put on probation for two years. He was fined 300 dollars on the possession of a controlled substance charge. Moffett also was required to pay court costs of 116 dollars.

Aaron wolf Moffett was accused of misdemeanor resisting lawful detention by fleeing on foot from Highway patrol trooper Brian Ranee. Confetti also was accused of possessing marijuana. Authorities said he was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on a traffic violation.
