A Spickard man, 48 year old Robert Blozvich, has been arrested on
a felony warrant accusing assault in the second degree. He posted ten thousand
dollars bond pending a June 25th appearance in associate division of the Grundy County Circuit Court.
Blozvich is accused of operating an all terrain vehicle while intoxicated resulting in a physical injury to a passenger. The accident was on August 11th of last year.
The warrant says Blozvich's A-T-V was attempting to climb a steep, sand,
embankment when it flipped—ejecting him and his passenger-- Dorothy Sue Thrasher.
She was taken by medical helicopter to St. Luke's Hospital with what the special prosecuting attorney described as a spinal cord injury (and partial paralysis).
