Special effort launched to identify deceased Trenton alumni for publication

Final preparations are underway for the publication of the annual Trenton High School Alumni News. As a part of this year’s edition, a request has been made for classes to report any classmates who have passed away since last year’s Labor Day reunion for a special listing in the newsletter honoring them.

Steve Maxey, co-editor of the Alumni News said that it is hoped to make this a regular listing in the newsletter and as the effort is started, the best way to begin gathering names is to rely upon local class representatives to share the news. Classes are reminded that the listing does not have to include only graduates from THS, but classmates who attended classes in the Trenton school system.

Class representatives should contact Maxey at 359-7244 to share names of deceased classmates as well as their hometowns at the time of their death.

Now believed to be one of the largest high school alumni organizations and annual celebrations in the country, the newsletter will be printed in early July and ready for mailing in mid-summer. Subscriptions may still be made by forwarding $10.00to the THS Alumni Association at PO Box 185, Trenton.

Greg Dalrymple and members of the Trenton High School Yearbook class are once again assisting with the preparations for printing of Alumni News.
