Woman Released, Arrested Yet Again On Meth Charges

A woman, who was just released from jail on her own recognizance on a previous meth production charge, is back in jail charged with involvement in another meth lab.
Sandra Hayes, 49, of Kirksville, is charged with attempt to manufacture meth, possession of meth and unlawful use of meth drug paraphernalia. She is being held under $75,000 cash only bond.
Also charged is Patrick Myres, 43, of Kirksville. He is charged with attempt to manufacture meth, possession of meth and unlawful use of meth drug paraphernalia. Myres is also charged with felony resisting arrest. He is being held in the Adair County jail under $75,000 cash only bond.
According to court papers, deputies with the Adair County Sheriff's Office went to a residence on Hackberry Trail on Saturday with an arrest warrant for Myres. When they entered the residence they found multiple items known to be used in the manufacture of meth. Several of the items recovered field tested positive for meth.
Myres took off through a back window and into a wooded area. Deputies caught up with him and took him into custody.
Hayes was arrested on May 14 by Kirksville police on charges of manufacturing meth and possession of meth. She was released from jail on May 22. Those charges are pending in circuit court.
