Grand River Mutual Telephone has selected Dalton Nelson of Bethany, Taylor Claypole of Eagleville, and Darell Hawley of Barnard to participate in the Foundation for Rural Service Youth Tour of Washington, DC.
Nelson attends South Harrison High School. Claypole is a student at North Harrison High School. Hawley attends South Nodaway High School.

GRM says 100 high school juniors from across the nation are to get a first hand look at the legislative process, and the federal agencies which regulate telecommunciations. The tour, from June 1st through the 5th, will include visits to the U.S. Capitol, Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon, and the Smithsonian Institution.

This tour is coordinated annually by the Foundation for Rural Service, which is an affiliate of the NTCA, the rural broadband association.
