Work to begin on Route C (between Allendale and Albany) on May 1st

Work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 1st on an overlay project on Route C in Worth and Gentry Counties, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
The overlay project is approximately 17 miles long and begins at Highway 46 in Allendale (in Worth County) and extends to U.S. Highway 136 in Albany (Gentry County).

Motorists should expect single lane closures with a pilot car guiding motorists through the project until it is completed. A contract for over 1.44 million dollars was awarded to Norris Asphalt Paving Company and should be completed by the end of May. All work is weather permitting.
