Two Bucklin residents were hurt when, according to the Highway Patrol, the sport utility vehicle they were in hit two other vehicles on Interstate 35 south of Cameron.
The driver of the SUV, 61-year old Barbara Allen-Baker, and a passenger, 85-year old Irma Dodson, both of Bucklin, were taken to Liberty Hospital. The Patrol said both had minor injuries. NO other injuries were reported.

The accident was Tuesday morning four miles south of Cameron on I-35. All three vehicles were southbound. The Patrol said the SUV merged from the driving lane to the passing lane and hit a MACK truck operated by 65-year old Gary Miller of Quincy, Illinois and a pickup truck driven by 23-year old Brently Wilson of Hamilton. The MACK truck and the pickup were both in the passing lane of southbound I-35.

The Patrol said the SUV driven by Ms. Allen-Baker was extensively damaged. Damage to the other two vehicles was "minor". All of the people involved in the accident were wearing seat belts.
