A Chillicothe resident received what the Highway Patrol called SERIOUS injuries when the car he was driving skidded off a country road, hit an embankment, and overturned near Chillicothe.
Twenty-two year old Lance Surber was found about ten feet from the car. The Patrol said he was taken to Hedrick Medical Center's helicopter pad, but no other details were provided.

The accident was Friday morning on LIV 233 just west of Chillicothe. The investigating officer said the car was northbound at high speed and began to skid on the loose gravel, slid several hundred feet, and went off the left side of the road. The car hit an embankment and flipped twice, coming to rest on its wheels. The vehicle was demolished.
