Adair County accident injures Green City and Trenton residents

The Highway Patrol reports Trenton and Green City women were injured when two cars collided on a patch of ice on Monday morning, three miles west of Novinger.
The Patrol described injuries as MODERATE for both drivers: 22-year old Briana White of Trenton and 17-year old Cheyanne Heaton of Green City. They were taken by ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Ms. White was eastbound while Ms. Heaton was westbound, according to an investigator, when Ms. Heaton lost control of her car on ice, crossed the center-line of Highway 6, and into the path of the oncoming car. Both vehicles were demolished. Both drivers were using seat belts in the 8 AM accident.
