SUV wreck, caused by icy roads, injures Laredo woman

A Laredo resident was injured early Wednesday morning when the sport utility vehicle she was driving went off a snow-covered road north of Laredo and hit an embankment. Twenty-year old Jessica West was taken by private vehicle to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton. The Highway Patrol described her injuries as minor.
The accident was two miles north of Laredo on Grundy County Route E. The Patrol said the northbound SUV skidded off the right side of the pavement, hit an embankment, and came to rest on its wheels. The vehicle sustained moderate damage.
