Gallatin City Administrator Zac Joihnson told the Gallatin City Council on Monday night that the city is "short-handed" on employees, and has new personnel plowing streets. Johnson said it takes time to learn the technique, and may take longer than normal to clear streets. He added the city is "doing the best it can at this time".
Johnson reports that a grader turn-table was damaged in last week's storm, but repairs have been made.

The Gallatin City Council has approved the appointments of NINE people to the Park Board. They are Joseph Billings, Mike Andersen, and Jon Thomas (to two-year terms); Jack Hennen, Mike Walker, and Nick Walker (to one-year terms); and Charles Loucks, Jake Hogan Jr., and Tim Tadlock (to three-month terms). The number of Park Board members had dwindled by resignations over the past several months.
