
Brookfield wins NCMC math contest

| Brookfield High School placed first in the team competition at "Math Exploration Day" at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. A Gallatin High School student, Palmer Turley, was first in the individual problem solving contest. More than 30 students from Brookfield, Gallatin, Grundy R-5, and Cainsville participated in several activities on Thursday in the annual Math Exploration Day. The contests were conducted by faculty at North Central Missouri College's Math and Science departments.
Math Exploration Day was organized by Lola Swint, who chairs the Math department at North Central Missouri College.
