| Three people sustained what the Highway Patrol called MODERATE injuries in a single vehicle accident on Wednesday night in northern Harrison County. The location, at Routes W and M, is five miles east of Eagleville. Taken by ambulance to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany were the driver: 81 year old Charles Snethen of Davis City, Iowa; and his passengers: 81 year old Jacqueline Snethen of Davis City, Iowa and 86-year old Margaret Gibson of Blythedale.
The Highway Patrol said Snethen was northbound when the car failed to stop at a T-intersection. It went off the road, struck a ditch, became airborne, struck a ground a second time before coming to rest off the road. The car was demolished. The report indicates that the Snethen's were using seat belts, while Ms. Gibson was not.
