Four Hamilton residents were hurt when a sport utility vehicle slid off a road south of Gallatin and overturned multiple times. The driver, 34-year old Sarah McBee, was taken to Liberty Hospital with what the Highway Patrol described as SERIOUS injuries. A passenger, 13-year old Haley Neill, was taken to Liberty Hospital with MODERATE injuries.
Ten year old Kimberly Dinwiddie and 13-year old Hali Dinwiddie were taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center, both with minor injuries.

The accident was late Saturday morning about six miles south of Gallatin on Daviess County Route M. The Patrol said the eastbound SUV went out of control on the snow-and-ice covered road, crossed the center line, and began to skid sideways. The vehicle veered back to the right, off the right side of the road, and overturned multiple times, before striking a fence, and coming to rest in a field.

The SUV was demolished. The Patrol said none of the four people involved in Saturday's accident were wearing seat belts.
