THS wrestlers finish fifth at "Quad States Classic"

The Trenton High School wrestlers tied for FIFTH place among nine schools in a tournament at Maryville High School on Saturday. Millard South High School of Omaha, Nebraska ran away with the team title, with Cameron finishing second. Here is Trenton Head Coach Charlie Bacon:

It was the first individual loss of the season for Carlos Gonzalez. Millard South won the tournament with 232 1/2 points, 72 1/2 greater than runner-up Cameron's 160. Lathrop was third with 103, Bedford-Lenox (Iowa) fourth at 102, and Trenton tied with Mount Ayr (Iowa) for fifth place at 83. Maryville was seventh (57.5 points), followed by Omaha South, and Bishop Miege.
