The Livingston County Sheriff's Department is seeking information from the public regarding daytime residential burglaries in northwestern Livingston County. The Sheriff's Department says it recently began an investigation of a residential burglary on LIV 511 where a forced entry was made into the unoccupied home, and a variety of firearms and sporting goods were stolen.

Sheriff Steve Cox says this is the SECOND residence in northwestern Livingston County to recently have been burglarized, with firearms stolen. Cox said his department is 'actively investigating both of the burglaries' and would appreciate any and all tips. People are asked to contact the Livingston County Sheriff's Department in Chillicothe or their nearest law enforcement agency.
