A sport utility vehicle overturned off of a FROST-covered Highway 6 near Galt early Thursday morning, injuring a Lucerne resident. Twenty-two year old Daniel Thompson was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, with injuries described as minor by the Highway Patrol.
The accident was one mile WEST of Galt on Highway 6. The Patrol said the eastbound SUV went out of control on the frost, skidded off the left side of the pavement, and overturned 1 1/2 times before coming to rest on its top. The SUV was demolished. Thompson was wearing a seat belt.
