Winter storm brings changes to NCMC Holiday Hoops schedule

Thursday morning's snowstorm that rolled across northern Missouri CANCELLED all games scheduled for that day at the annual NCMC Holiday Hoops event. The games, including the Trenton girls against St. Joseph Lafayette, and the Chillicothe boys against Council Bluffs, Iowa, will NOT be made up.
Friday's schedule has also been tweaked due to winter issues. Friday morning's scheduled games between the girls and boys teams from Gilman City and Brashear have been moved BACK. Instead of playing at 9:00 and 10:30 this (Friday) morning, the Gilman City girls will play Brashear at 12 noon, with the Gilman City boys playing Brashear at 1:30.

The original schedule had the Grundy R-5 girls and boys playing Southwest Livingston at 12:00 and 1:30 today. Those games have been CANCELLED and will not be made up.

The four-game Friday evening session at NCMC remains as is, with the Trenton boys battling Lathrop at 4:00 (on Hot Country Z 101.7), the Excelsior Springs boys against Kirksville at 5:30, the Chillicothe girls against Richmond at 7:00, and the Maryville boys against Richmond at 8:30.

Here are the scores from WEDNESDAY's Holiday Hoops event at NCMC:

(Girls) Bucklin/Macon County 55, Ridgeway 30
(Boys) Ridgeway 65, Bucklin/Macon County 51
(Girls) Kirksville 52, S.J. Lafayette 45
