Livingston County authorities investigate home burglaries

Authorities in Livingston County are looking for at least one suspect stemming down an investigation into two recent home burglaries that allegedly occurred during the early morning hours while occupants were sleeping. One was northwest of Chillicothe and the other was inside Chillicothe's city limits.
Sheriff Steve Cox said the suspect(s) allegedly entered the homes and removed "certain items" from each residence. At least one of the lap top computers stolen as "family history information stored on its hard drive that is very sentimental and irreplaceable" to the victim. Several people have been interviewed and one arrest warrant has been obtained.

Twenty-four year old Brandon Simpson of Chillicothe is being sought for alleged Burglary First Degree and Felony Stealing. Bond is currently set at $25,000. Sheriff Cox says Simpson may have recently fled the Livingston County area. The suspect has been added to the MOST WANTED list of the Livingston County Sheriff's Department website at www.livcoso.org. Authorities ARE considering seeking additional charges on one or more other people of interest.
