The Grand River Audubon Chapter will meet on Wednesday night at the Jerry Litton Agri-Science Center northwest of Chillicothe. Social time is at 6:30 followed by the program at 7:00. Terry McNeely will present the program on "The Upcoming Christmas Bird Count".
The Christmas Bird Count is an annual event that is conducted within a 17 mile circle based out of the McNeely house near Jameson. This count shows the changes in the population on the birds in the area. McNeely will have compiled data on the past 28 counts as part of his program.

If you would like to participate in the "count", you need only to attend Wednesday night's meeting. You only need to have an 'interest' in nature, and not necessarily be considered an 'expert birder'. Refreshments will be served.
