Grand River Valley Choir/Orchestra invites all to their Christmas concert

The Grand River Choir and Orchestra presents “Christmas before Claus” at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the First Baptist Church on Oklahoma Avenue in Trenton.
The concert is free, but donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted for the Community Food Pantry.

Singers and instrumentalists from throughout the region share and mix their musical talents to perform old-time favorite Christmas carols, including “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “The Holly and the Ivy,” and “Joy to the World.” George Brundage will conduct the choir and orchestra and Buddy Hannaford was the rehearsal conductor for the orchestra.

Doors to the First Baptist Church will open at 2:15 p.m. Saturday. Food items needed at the food pantry include tuna and chicken meal starters, ramen noodles, cornbread mix and saltine crackers, but any nonperishable food item will be accepted. The food pantry also needs plastic grocery bags.The concert will be carried live on our web site www.kttn.com, for video streaming, underwritten by PDQ Cleaning Services of Trenton.
