Tuesday night accident injures Mercer woman

One person was injured in Mercer early on Tuesday evening, when the Highway Patrol reports a car was rear-ended in a 5:45 collision that happened on Mercer County Route M. Injuries were described as minor for 42-year old Dana Stark of Mercer, who was transported by ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton.
Ms. Stark was the driver of the car that was struck from behind. Operating the truck involved in the collision with 17-year old Zachery Campbell of Mercer, who escaped injury.

Both vehicles were eastbound when the Stark car slowed for a left turn into a private driveway, when the truck skidded into the the rear of the car. That car was demolished while the truck received moderate damage. Both drivers were using seat belts. The Mercer County Sheriff's Department assisted the Highway Patrol at the scene of the accident.
