The Livingston County Health Center is again sponsoring its annual "Mitten Tree" to help provide mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves to people who can not afford to purchase them. Donations can be dropped off at the Health Center (800 Adam Drive) during normal business hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
The center can be called if the donor wishes to have the items picked up. Items especially needed are casual and work gloves for BOYS and MEN. Items are needed as well for CHILDREN ages five and younger. However, new or clean used gloves, mittens, and hats to fit any size or gender are welcome.

The Livingston County RSVP Office is collected new or clean used winter coats. Those donations should be taken to the RSVP Office at 440 Locust Street in Chillicothe. They also can be left at the Livingston County Health Center.

People knowing about individuals in need of these winter items are encouraged to refer them to the Health Center or RSVP Office.
