NCMC to host Veteran's program on Monday

North Central Missouri College is among colleges nationwide participating in the National "Roll Call" on Monday. This event is Monday at 12 noon in front of Geyer Hall on the campus in Trenton. President Dr. Neil Nuttall will give brief remarks and North Central employee Chelsea Woodard will sing the national anthem. There will also be a recognition of Missouri's "Fallen Heroes".
Among those scheduled to participate in the naming of the fallen heroes are U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant Christopher McCurley and U.S. Army National Guard Sergeant Devon Hand, both student-veterans. Several leaders of campus student organizations will be involved.

In addition, NCMC will participate in the national moment of silence at 1 o'clock, with the observation open to the general public.

NCMC says it has been recognized as a military friendly schools for several years by Victory Media. Victory Media honors colleges, universities, and trade schools nationwide doing the most to embrace military service members, veterans, and their spouses to ensure their success in higher education.
