Pickup truck fire in Sullivan County injures two from Galt

The Highway Patrol reports that the contents in the bed of a pickup truck ignited, causing injuries on Thursday afternoon for two Galt residents. Fifty-seven year old Barbara Mann and her passenger, 49-year old Kenneth Pate, received minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan.
The Thursday afternoon incident (at 2:30 PM) was on Highway 139, just south of Highway 6 in western Sullivan County. Damage was extensive to the northbound truck. Both occupants were using seat belts.

The Highway Patrol ARREST report indicates that Barbara Mann was accused of no driver's license, no proof of insurance, and alleged failure of transfer license plates within thirty days.
