Accident north of Brunswick results in weekend injuries

Two people were hurt when a car went off a road in Chariton County, hit a bridge rail, and came to rest in a creek bed. A passenger, 22-year old Tiffany Samm of Mendon, was taken to Moberly Regional Medical Center with MODERATE injuries. The Patrol said the driver, 24-year old David Weil of Brunswick, was to seek treatment on his own for minor injuries.
This accident was Saturday afternoon, five miles north of Brunswick on Fort Orleans Avenue. The car was demolished. Both people were wearing seat belts.
