A Gilman City resident, 70-year old James Wilson, received what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries in an accident on Monday morning in Bethany. The collision, on U.S. Highway 136, involved a South Harrison School District bus and a tractor-trailer. Wilson was taken by private vehicle to Harrison County Community Hospital in Bethany.
Wilson was westbound, driving the school bus, while the tractor-trailer was eastbound and driven by 45-year old Earnest Russell of Kansas City, Kansas.

A Highway Patrol investigator said the outside mirrors of the bus and the big truck struck one another in the center of the roadway. Damage was listed as minor. Both drivers were using safety devices.
