Two Illinois residents were hurt near Cameron when a southbound car went into the median of Interstate 35, crossed both northbound lanes, went off the east side of the interstate, hit an embankment, and overturned, coming to rest on its top.
The driver was 23-year old Alejandro Lira of Rock Island, Illinois. A passenger was 20-year old Brianne Seeman of Viola, Illinois. Both refused treatments at the scene for what the Highway Patrol called minor injuries.

The accident was Saturday morning two miles north of Cameron on Interstate 35. The car was demolished. Both people were wearing seat belts.
