Trenton classes to dismiss early for 2012 Homecoming Parade

| Classes in the Trenton R-9 school district will be dismissed early this (Friday) afternoon to allow for the annual homecoming parade. This year, the grand marshals are retired long-time instructor Mike and Beverly Bosley. The parade begins at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
It will follow the route used in the recent past for Homecoming parades – leaving from the high school parking lot to go north on Normal; west on 17th; south on Harris Avenue; then turning east at 9th street to finish at Bulldog Avenue and Eastside Park.
At C.F. Russell Stadium tonight, the presentation of Homecoming Royalty is at 6:30 with the football game to follow; and then the homecoming dance is in the Trenton High School gym.
