Mercer County Health Department to hold run/walk event next month in Princeton

The Mercer County Health Department will be sponsoring a five kilometer "fun run" and "walk" the night of Thursday, October 4th in Princeton. The breast cancer awareness event will feature participants carrying "glow sticks", with the event beginning at 7 o'clock on the night of October 4th at the Mercer County Health Department in Princeton.
The specific route has not yet been finalized, but measures are expected to be taken to alert motorists of the participating runners that evening. Participants will check in at 6:30, with the entry fee being $20.00 which covers the cost of t-shirts and gifts. The t-shirts will be available in limited supply.

Entry forms are available from the health department office at 305 West Main Street in Princeton. It can be paid in advance or on the night of the event. However, those entering in advance should know that you will have a greater chance of receiving a t-shirt. There will be no prizes awarded for the fastest finishers of the 5K "Fun Run and Walk".
