4-H Volunteers to receive training at Chillicothe

On Saturday, September 29th, 4-H leaders from across northern Missouri will be joining together for the cause of 4-H youth development at the Regional Discover the Clover event.

This training will feature State 4-H Staff, including 4-H Program Director Ina Linville. The sessions promise to be fun filled and interactive. Some topics include: "Revving up your 4-H program", "Look what can happen when youth and adults work together", "Helping kids learn", "4-H beyond club borders", and "Creating environments for positive relationships".

Participants will leave with practical ideas and tools to take back to their 4-H programs.

Discover the Clover will be held from 8:30 3:30 at the Grand River Vo-Tech School located at 1200 Fair St, Chillicothe. Thanks to the support of Monsanto, the event is FREE and lunch is provided. All volunteers and prospective volunteers are welcome to attend.
