Accident west of Cameron injures Nebraska man

A Nebraska truck driver was injured in an accident yesterday (Wednesday) three miles west of Cameron. The Highway Patrol said 30 year old Kenneth Hinds of Columbus, Nebraska was eastbound when his tractor-trailer ran off U-S 36, struck a fence and two utility poles, returned to the highway, crossed the road, and came to a stop in the median.
The truck was listed as demolished in the late afternoon accident. The Patrol said Hinds received MODERATE injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
