Princeton, behind QB Hartley, runs past Putnam County, 31-8

Princeton quarterback Colton Hartley ran for three touchdowns and over 300 yards, as the Tigers picked up their first win of the 2012 football season, 31-8 on Friday night at Putnam County High School, in a game from Unionville broadcast on KTTN FM 92.3 and
The Tigers scored two touchdowns in the first quarter, although the conversion attempts failed on both. A safety and field goal in the second quarter gave Princeton a 17-8 halftime advantage, with the Midgets scoring their only points of the night in the second quarter on a touchdown and two point conversion.

Two Princeton touchdowns, one in the third quarter and one in the fourth, with the PAT converted after both scores, completed the scoring.
